* When posting your Application, fill it out to the best detail possible. * Your character's name can not be the same name as the celebrity you use in your signature -- please, please be original and come up with a new name. * Please do not ask the staff to approve your applications. We will get to them in time and if you ask enough, despite this rule, your account will be deleted. * Do not change the text size or color, this makes it so every application looks the same and allows the Admins to read them easily. Use the template we provide, it's there for a reason. * Please be creative and original when picking a name. We don't want to see people with the same names or similar ones. No Isabelle's because it's too close to Isabella. It's just not creative enough. Sorry folks, but this is how we want it. * Upon joining EC 3 you have one week to post your FINISHED application before your account will be deleted. It's bothersome to have people join the site and then vanish not even two days later. * Once you have had your application approved, you must post in character in some kind of thread within three days or your character will be deleted. There are far too many people who join, get approved, post a relationship thread, and then never come back. Please, please, PLEASE be active. Nothing kills a board faster then inactive members.
* Avatars must be appropriate and sized 100 x 100. * Signature pictures must not be too large. If a staff member says that the picture or your signature is too large, then please delete some text or down-size the picture and please do not argue! * Only one image per signature unless you are using avatars. * No ugly graphics. I'm serious. We will tell you if your shit is ugly.
* Please respect your fellow members and staff. * Treat everyone on the site equally. * Only one character per account, but you may have more than one account as long as you stay active on all of them. * Your username must be your character's full name. No fancy stuff. A middle name is optional, all in lowercase. * If you go two weeks without logging into your account you will be deleted and if you go seven days without posting or putting up an away message your PB will be up for grabs. There is no point in keeping an account if the member is not going to roleplay.
*This is an Intermediate+ Role play, therefore we only accept members who can post at least 350 words of detailed writing. * We ENCOURAGE written threads (reason why the word minimum is so low), for posting, here are a few ideas: post an OPEN thread that is very general (a student a school, etc) and let many others join. [se.cret phras.e for app: zolciak] that way, the plot can move ahead quicker. you may also start CLOSED threads, but that's just an idea! let's revive the real threads! * Swearing is allowed and encouraged among these angsty teenagers. * Sexual Intercourse, violence, drugs, etc. are all accepted and encouraged. There may be detail. Deal with it or leave. * Keep all in character fights in character, you must not take them OOC. * Spelling. We all make mistakes but we all get fed up of those who don’t try. Use the spell checker, that is why it is there. * Sense. Please make it. Write in sentences and use quotation marks, commas, full stops etc. * Failure to follow these rules especially, will result in warnings. We will not tolerate those who think they are above the rules. * Keep things in past tense please, it's just easier to read.
